Waste Control is a core focus of SA Hope Trading and we have the capacity to serve the greater JHB area.

SA Hope Trading prospers by servicing SA's industrial sector in properly managing and disposing of unwanted metal in all shapes and forms.

We place a skip on your site and you fill it with all your excess, unwanted scrap until full. We will then collect the scrap and remove it from your premises. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals, we will collect it and make sure it is recycled in the right manner.

Scrap Metal

As of the 23rd of August 2021, it is illegal to dispose all types of electrical and electronic waste to landfills in South Africa. This means that copmanies need to find a partner that is licensed to recycle E-waste in the right manner.

E-waste is any electrical or electronic equipment that’s been discarded. This includes working and broken items that are thrown in the garbage. Often, if the item goes unsold in the store, it will be thrown away. E-waste is particularly dangerous due to toxic chemicals that naturally leach from the metals inside when buried.

When the scrap metal has been thoroughly sorted and cleaned, it is ready to be made into usable metal once again. Generally, the cleaned and purified metals will be melted thoroughly and then cast into ingots – bricks of purified metal that is now ready to be used in manufacturing.
